Why 'Fake It 'Til You Make It' Is a Terrible Strategy
…how to avoid the dreaded ‘meh’ zone😑
Hi biz-starters!
Welcome to this week's edition of The Biz Starter🚀 Newsletter!
Thanks for taking the time to open this email and look around. I appreciate you! Let me know what you think of it, and if I can ever be of service, just reply to this email. Your message will go straight to me.--Sherry
I can’t tell you the number of times I get clients who quietly consume my content and then suddenly DM me out of the blue, ready to enroll or book a strategy session.
It happened last week. Someone who has NEVER engaged with my content - ( I don’t think he had even ‘liked’ anything) - reached out to me and sent me an amazing message and then a few days later enrolled in my Get Clients program and Level-Up package.
I’ve learned that “ready” qualified buyers quietly pay attention until it’s the perfect time for them to come in.
They started showing up for me when I figured out how to share a strong message that speaks to them.
The mistake I made, and I see many of my clients make, is winging it and sharing content with no intent to nurture.
OR running ads to funnels and struggling to get people to buy (in other words - posting content without intent and on "sales" calls trying to convince people to buy),
This is 100% a result of messaging NOT speaking to the “ready” buyers.
If you are intentional about your content, you do a good job of warming your audience up to you. Your content, live events, podcast guest spots, and blogs speak to the people who are ready to take action when you are intentional about your messaging.
Shallow content was not enough.
To do this, I had to go deep into describing the cause of my audience’s problem.
Why?
Ready premium buyers are looking for solutions—rather than the same “how to” content everyone else shares.
When you learn this type of content, you begin seeing those DMs from people ready to take action and move forward.
The secret–don’t just focus on the problem…instead, I learned how to communicate why they are experiencing the problems—from a unique perspective.
Do you need help with this? Let’s hop on a quick strategy session where I evaluate your positioning and messaging to give you specific, actionable advice on EXACTLY what you need to attract ready-to-invest buyers to your business.

Product Brand and Promotion Guide
A strong product brand and effective promotion are must-haves for entrepreneurs who sell products. Being intentional about branding and promotion means clearly understanding your target audience and the message you want to communicate to them.
A brand is more than just a logo or a catchy tagline; it involves the brand story and the customer’s experience with a company's product, including its quality, reliability, and overall reputation. Intentional branding and promotion require a consistent message across all channels, including social media, advertising, and packaging; otherwise, you risk...
