Hey BizStarter!

When I booked my weekend spa trip, I signed up for an oxygenation facial because my skin looked tired and blah. In my head, I knew exactly what I needed.

But the esthetician didnโ€™t just start the treatment. She asked questions. She looked closely. She even checked my hydration levels. Turns out, my skin wasnโ€™t just dull, it was dehydrated and stressed, and the real solution needed to be different from what Iโ€™d assumed.

That stuck with me. Because itโ€™s exactly what goes wrong in so many sales conversations.

Women coaches, service providers, and side-hustlers often create a โ€œperfectโ€ offer. Itโ€™s polished, valuable, and should be an easy yes.

Yet somehowโ€ฆ itโ€™s not converting.

The offer usually isnโ€™t the problem.
The problem is that the diagnosis never happened.

Too many sales calls skip past real discovery. Instead of digging into whatโ€™s really going on for the client, the business owner jumps to what they think the client needs.

To Keep Your Offer From Falling Flat:

  • Play Detective, Not Psychic โ€“ Stop assuming you know the answer after one clue. Ask questions until the real issue becomes clear.

  • Pass on the โ€œAlmostโ€ Client โ€“ If theyโ€™re not ready, willing, and able, let them go. The right fit is worth the wait.

  • Qualify Before You Coach โ€“ Inspiration feels good, but clarity closes deals. Make sure theyโ€™re ready before mapping out their success story.

Hereโ€™s the big takeaway:
Your offer might be amazing, but if itโ€™s handed out without fully understanding the person in front of you, it will keep falling flat.

Good sales are diagnostic.
It means slowing down, asking deeper questions, and listening before you recommend a thing.

So ask yourself: If I stopped rushing to the prescription, what would I learn about this client?

Master these three moves, and your โ€œperfectโ€ offer wonโ€™t just look good on paper; itโ€™ll land with the right people, at the right time, for all the right reasons.

And if you want a shortcut to make that happen faster?

HEY FROM VIRGINIA!

Steam, Serenity, and Sanity

I noticedโ€ฆit was time. You know that moment when your shoulders are practically earrings and your coffee is more stress fuel than joy? Yeah, that. So I packed a bag and escaped to a spa in Virginia for the weekend.

Between the steam room, the massage, and not having to cook a single meal, I remembered what breathing without a deadline feels like. Self-care isnโ€™t just bubble baths, itโ€™s catching stress before it turns into a full-blown why-did-I-say-yes-to-this spiral.

Your business needs you rested, not running on fumes.

๐Ÿ“If youโ€™re ever in Leesburg, VA, Lansdowne Resort is a must-visit. Itโ€™s pure bliss for wellness lovers. And if you go, donโ€™t leave without an Oxygenation Facialโ€”your skin (and your stress levels) will thank you.
