Confession time…
I used to wear "busy" like a badge of honor. If my to-do list didn’t rival the length of an encyclopedia, I thought I wasn’t doing enough.

But then I had an epiphany last month—or maybe it was just burnout talking—I realized I was doing too much without honoring the sacredness of the calendar.
So, I made a bold vow this year: I would do less to get more.
Here’s what this looks like in practice: New Rules.
I stopped pretending I’m Superwoman (the cape was never my style anyway). Instead, I hired more talented people for my team—aka my new squad of rockstars who keep the wheels turning while I focus on the bigger picture.
I ruthlessly blocked my calendar like a bouncer at an exclusive club. Calls? Only on two days a week now. Social Media posting? 1-2 days a week. Meetings? Only two days a week. The weekend? Closed for business, open for brilliance and the occasional Saturday “paid” 15-Min. Discovery Call.—that’s 4 days a week I go all in!
I reclaimed Thursdays as my sacred “me day.” Me…no meetings, no emails, just me and whatever lights my soul on fire that week. Hot Yoga? Spin Class Maybe. Binge-watching a true crime series? Absolutely.
And guess what?
The world didn’t stop spinning, my clients didn’t riot, and my productivity actually skyrocketed. Turns out, doing less doesn’t make you lazy—it makes you smarter.

✅ I’ll be a guest speaker on a podcast next month
✅ I opened a brokerage to help entrepreneurs get funding [the 4th pillar of my business]
and it’s only January 28th!
But I’m well rested and full of energy because of the rules above.
If you’re still chasing your tail in the name of “getting things done,” take a page out of my new playbook: work smarter, schedule smarter, and, most importantly, make you a priority. Because the best ROI comes from investing in yourself.
