šŸ’ŽFearless Finesse: The Art of Embracing Shiny New Things

...how to run to your potential

Hey there, Biz Starters!

This week, Iā€™m trying something new Iā€™ve never been a fan ofā€”doing live events online.šŸ˜±

But Iā€™m jumping both feet in during my business boot camp this week. Wish me luckšŸ¤ž

Do you always stick to the familiar, steering clear of the shiny and new? I get it.

You may be wary of diving into unknown territory, fearing the dreaded "shiny object syndrome." But here's the kicker: trying new things isn't always about chasing after every glittery distraction.

Staying in your comfort zone feels cozy and safe. You might even find yourself saying, "I don't fall for shiny object syndrome," as a way to reassure yourself that you're not lured by every sparkly new thing that comes your way.

But let's pause and think for a moment.

Is there a chance avoiding new things might mean youā€™re missing out on opportunities?

When I hear someone say, ā€œI donā€™t like that because Iā€™m not into trying shiny new things.ā€

This says ā€¦

Maybe youā€™re afraid to learn.

Maybe youā€™re afraid to build.

Maybe youā€™re afraid to grow.

Or maybe youā€™re just afraid.

This weekā€™s newsletter explores the balance between steering clear of distractions and embracing the new.Ā

Trying something different isnā€™t about shiny distractions, but itā€™s about growth and potential.

Let's challenge the norm, dive into the unknown, and navigate the balance between your comfy routines and the excitement of something fresh. Because, who knows, the next shiny thing might just be the opportunity youā€™ve been waiting for!

šŸ”ØTop Tool of the Week

Have you ever been on a Zoom call, trying to take notes and pay attention to the person by making eye contact? Itā€™s virtually impossible to do.

Thereā€™s a tool called Fathom my team, and I have been using for the last couple of months. It has changed how we work in online meetings and consulting sessions.

Fathom makes taking notes and highlighting important sections of your meetings easy. It auto-generates call & action item summaries that can be dropped into Notion, Google Docs, Asana, Todoist, and Gmail with a single click.

We integrate it with our Zoom account, but you could also integrate it with Slack to send specific highlights in real-time. It also integrates with Salesforce, HubSpot, & Close to sync your highlights & notes to any matching Contacts.šŸ¤—

It has magical powers to quickly translate into seven different languages. This is amazing, especially for entrepreneurs and small businesses who work with people worldwide. The best part is this amazing tool is free!
