Fail Fast, Succeed Faster By Trial & Error
...is LinkedIn a hidden gem?
Hey there, Biz Starter!
Can you believe it’s already September?😲
The summer has flown by with long, hot summer days and busy weekends. The tween is in junior high, we’re planning a trip to New York this Fall, and I’m already looking forward to the holidays.
It’s the perfect time of the year to make changes in your business and try something new.
The trick is not to get burned out while trying something new.😉
For example, glitchy Twitter “X” made it easy for me to decide to focus more on my LinkedIn presence. Similar to what I did to grow to 5K+ on Twitter in a few months, with LinkedIn, I focus on engaging first.
I started scheduling my posts after doing this:
✅Optimized my LinkedIn page
✅Narrowed my Featured section
✅Engage with comments, not emojis or likes
✅Share a video each week
✅Track posts engagements and metrics
I’ve finally been able to get my video strategy in motion and started sharing videos on LinkedIn and TikTok once a week.
Surprisingly, the videos attract more interest and clients on LinkedIn than on TikTok, but I’m okay with this. Maybe I’ll share some behind-the-scenes in another newsletter.
Trial and error is an underrated strategy for creating business growth.
You know, it's when we take lessons from our failures and successes that we become more adaptable and, in the end, set the stage for improving our business.
Now, let’s get into this week’s tips, ideas, resources, and the latest news!

👩🏽💻Digital Marketing News
This week, we start digital marketing news with LinkedIn. Do you think LinkedIn is cool now?
I appreciate the conversations on the platform and the long-lasting network you can build. The good news is that LinkedIn is unique, not stuffy, and is slowly making improvements for its users.
Lately, I’ve been spending more time on the platform, and I have met dozens of new people as well as acquired four new clients in the last month. It’s so much fun because we know why we’re there….to network, help people, build trust, and sometimes— do business. Find me on LinkedIn here.
📆Posts of the Week
Working in your business around the clock without any breaks or self-care is a recipe for disaster.
Creating boundaries in your business and in your life gives you the room to think and create.

Some advice for startup founders:
Every entrepreneur doubts themselves.
It’s normal. It’s part of the journey.
But give it a shot so you can at least say “I tried” rather than “what if”.
So please believe in yourself and go for it.
If it was easy everyone would do it.
