😖Confused Minds Don’t Convert—Here’s Proof

You ever get excited to make a big move in your business, only to get stuck at the finish line by too many dang choices?

I’m officially building an agency (yes, it’s happening!), and I was all set to check out after grabbing the perfect domain name. Then BAM—an avalanche of options. Hosted email? Outlook or Google? One year, three years, or forever? Add storage? Add security? Add stress?

It was a reminder that sometimes, doing less really does lead to more—especially when you're trying to close the sale.
What should’ve taken 30 seconds turned into a 10-minute spiral.
It was annoying, confusing, and made me second-guess the whole thing.
That’s exactly what not to do when your customer’s ready to buy.
Too many choices kill momentum.
One of the best moves I’ve made while building this agency and finishing up my book (psst… waitlist’s open) is cutting down the number of offers and capping timelines.
Research shows that too many choices hurt sales. In a HubSpot study, businesses that reduced options on landing pages saw conversion rates increase by up to 266%.
Another study by InnerTrends found that simplifying a pricing page led to a 21% lift in signups.
Because fewer options don’t just simplify your backend—they make it easier for clients to say yes.
And when clients say yes faster? That means more revenue, less friction, and no more “let me think about it” turning into never heard from again.
